This short, 200 page biography of Huxley was said by Huxley’s second wife, Laura, to be the only book written about Huxley’s philosophical views that he would have agreed with.  Huston Smith called the book “an important study in the intellectual history of our times,” and Laura Huxley added that it was “authentic, clearly written, and fascinating.”  Accolades for the book also came from Jeffrey Kripal, Cynthia Humes, Alex Grey, Andrew Harvey, Pico Iyer, and Bernfried Nugel, director of the Centre for Aldous Huxley studies at the University of Muenster, Germany.
